Gorgeous sunset at the Bonneville Salt Flats

I was literally racing to the Bonneville Salt Flats a week ago tonight, hoping to be there to capture the sunset. But 15 miles short of my intended destination, the sunset was too magnificent to not pull off the side of I-180 and run 50 yards away from the road to capture the scene. I loved what I was seeing and was lucky enough to be able to capture part of it with my camera.

After capturing some of the whole scene, I closed in with a different lens to capture the silhouetted mountains.
