Last night I headed out to the beach with my camera to get a few shots on Ka’anapali beach. I spent an hour or so taking shots, and had to call it quits when my camera battery got too low. Here’s one of my favorites.

I enjoy night photography. In fact, that is one of my all-time favorite things to shoot. And when I look at this photo, especially the colors of the sky contrasted against the trees, I am glad I invested the time on the beach in Hawaii to get a photo that looks like this.
I’m loving this vacation… and Hawaii is a beautiful place to photograph.
P.S. – I am pretty sure that Venus is the brightest light in the sky in this photo!
