Preparing to Launch a Photo Project – Stay Tuned!

I’ve taken what seems like a bazillion photos. My subjects have ranged from macro to wide angle, and everything in between. Many of the photos I have taken (the good ones anyway) I have shared on this blog – and I plan to continuing doing that. But I have also been trying to figure out my niche, and if there is a way to use my photos and passion for photography on a project. I think I have finally nailed down the type of project I would like to pursue and am planning to announce it sometime this week. This project will begin as a Facebook page, with maybe an additional page added to my Carltonaut website, so it will be a work in progress.

Until later this week, here’s a photo I captured the other day while in downtown Salt Lake for a work meeting. The autumn colors are making an appearance in Utah, so a quick trip to Temple Square (and I mean quick, because I set a timer for 15 minutes and when it beeped, I packed up and left) made for a great subject to photograph. This is only one of the many I captured, but it shows the season well.

As I’ve already mentioned, the style of this blog will not change as I embark on this new project. There will still be a variety of photos shared, some tutorial, and of course, the camera settings for each photo. Thanks to all who follow and have encouraged me with my photography. Here’s to many more photos and its evolution.
