While visiting New York City with my wife and daughter last April, we made a stop by Ground Zero. I was mesmerized by the reflections of the blue sky and white clouds in the glass windows of Freedom Tower – from the base to the roof. I captured my share of photos, but with so many other buildings so tightly packed together, it made it challenging to capture just the beauty of the building itself. I’m glad I had my 10-22mm lens with me so I could capture the whole thing in a single shot.
In looking at the photos months after the trip, this particular photos almost makes Freedom Tower look invisible. The white clouds in the sky almost match up with the white clouds being reflected in the windows. Here’s lookin’ at you!
